Thank you for subscribing to MikroMES. MikroMES is a pure software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that is entirely automated and self-service — no human intervention is required for account provisioning, setup, or use of the Service. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are provided for our subscription plans.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
Words with capitalized initial letters have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions apply whether they appear in singular or plural form.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

Company (referred to as "the Company", "We", "Us", or "Our") refers to MikroMES, Israel.

Service refers to the MikroMES software-as-a-service platform, accessible through the Website and associated subdomains (e.g., app.mikromes.com), including all features, functionality, content, subscriptions, and services offered by the Company.

Subscription means your agreement to access and use the Service for a defined period (monthly or annual) in exchange for recurring payment.

Free Tier refers to the permanently free subscription option with limited capacity and usage, available indefinitely at no cost.

Free Trial refers to a limited period during which You may access the paid Subscription Service at no charge, as specified at the time of signup.

You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Payment Processing
All orders for paid subscriptions are processed by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited (for customers outside the United States) or Paddle.com Inc. (for customers in the United States). Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, and sales tax/VAT collection on our behalf.
Returns and refunds are governed by this policy but are processed through Paddle. When you request a refund, we will initiate the refund through Paddle's system. For payment-related inquiries or disputes, you may also contact Paddle directly, though we encourage you to reach out to us first at support@mikromes.com so we can assist you.

Free Tier
MikroMES offers a Free Tier with limited capacity and usage that is available at no cost. We encourage you to use the Free Tier to evaluate whether our Service meets your needs before committing to a paid subscription. No payment information is required for the Free Tier, and no refund policy applies to it.
Please note: The Free Tier is provided at our discretion. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue the Free Tier at any time, including but not limited to:
- Changing capacity limits, usage restrictions, or available features
- Modifying eligibility requirements
- Discontinuing the Free Tier entirely
We will provide at least 30 days' notice via email to affected users before any material changes to or discontinuation of the Free Tier take effect. Such notice will include information about available paid subscription options.
Subscription Plans and Billing
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are billed at the beginning of each monthly billing cycle. Your subscription will automatically renew each month until cancelled.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed as a single payment at the beginning of the annual billing cycle. Annual plans are offered at a discounted rate compared to the equivalent monthly pricing. Your subscription will automatically renew each year until cancelled.
Refund Policy
14-Day Refund Window (All Paid Subscriptions)
You are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, provided you have not previously received a refund for the same Service. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of your request using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Monthly Subscriptions (After 14-Day Window)
After the initial 14-day refund window, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused time within a monthly billing cycle.
Annual Subscriptions (After 14-Day Window)
Annual subscriptions have an extended cancellation policy due to the larger upfront commitment:
Within the first 30 days of your annual subscription:
You may cancel and receive a prorated refund. Because annual subscriptions include a discount compared to monthly pricing, refunds are calculated based on the full monthly rate (without the annual discount) for the period you have used the Service.
Example: If your annual subscription costs $200/year (equivalent to $20/month at full monthly pricing), and you cancel within the first 30 days, the refund would be calculated as:
- Amount paid: $200
- Value of service used: 1 month × $20 = $20
- Refund amount: $200 - $20 = $180
After 30 days from the start of your annual subscription:
Annual subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to the Service until the end of your annual billing period. Your subscription will not renew for the following year.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
- Using the cancellation option in your account settings on our Website
- Contacting us by email at support@mikromes.com
Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period unless you are eligible for and request a refund as outlined above.
Data Retention Upon Cancellation
Upon refund or cancellation, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please note that while we may retain certain data for legal and tax compliance, other account data may be deleted upon the termination of your subscription rights.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:
- Requests made outside the applicable refund windows described above
- Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
- Subscription downgrades (you may downgrade at any time, but the new pricing takes effect at the next billing cycle)
- Temporary service interruptions covered under our Service Level Agreement (if applicable)
- Failure to cancel before automatic renewal (you may cancel at any time to prevent future renewals)
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of approval.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
- You will not incur any fees for refund processing.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our Website. However, if a revision is material, We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
For existing subscribers, any changes to this policy will apply to billing periods starting after the change is posted.
